Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker mentions The Mole Man in his column today:

LOCAL LIGHTS: Though the man who played Freddy Krueger, Robert Englund, was not involved with ”The Nightmare on Elm Street” remake that recently wrapped filming here, the actor last week did shoot scenes with local actors Mike Bradecich and John La Flamboy in ”The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue,” the movie Bradecich and LaFlamboy co-wrote and are now co-directing here.
Bradecich is on a roll these days. Not only did he play former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s father-in-law, Dick Mell, in Second City’s smash hit ”Rod Blagojevich Superstar,” but he’s become a ubiquitous presence on TV lately — as the star of all those ”If it fits, it ships” commercials for the U.S. Postal Service.
