2011 was a good year for the Mole Man on the festival circuit. Thank you to all the festivals who were kind enough to show our film, and especially to those who liked it enough to give it an award!

The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue has won Best Directors from the Atlanta Horror Film Festival and Best Comedy Horror from the Chicago Horror Film Festival!

The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue will be screening at the Land Locked Film Festival (9:15 pm on August 26) in Iowa City, IA and the Atlanta Horror Film Festival (8:00 pm on September 17) in Atlanta, GA.

Variety’s Dennis Harvey reviewed The Mole Man of Belmont Avenue recently after it played the Hole in the Head Film Festival in San Francisco, saying that it should “provide a ravenous calling card for the talented duo (John LaFlamboy and Mike Bradecich)” and that it “has its cult-following credentials in order”.

“Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer,” a Big Tree favorite featuring Mole Man’s own Robert Englund, will be airing on SyFy on Wednesday, May 12th at Midnight. Check it out, its a blast!

Tim Kazurinsky, the Second City legend who plays Harold the Homeless Man in Mole Man, has just sold a one hour comedy pilot script to the BBC, and they are scheduled to shoot it late this summer!
